Comments from the 2006 course :
- Packed with excellent ideas - a delight
to be given new perspectives which are exciting - I usually
get depressed after courses - not this one! Cathy
Baker - The Westgate School, Winchester.
- Extremely lively, highly relevant
and full of practical yet inspirational ideas. Louise
Dawson - Thomas Alleyne's H S, Uttoxeter
- A real eye-opener. Gave me loads
to think about but also inspired me to try these new
and exciting things. Sue Jones - Longton High
(Birmingham)
- As usual, excellent. DCS has a well-deserved
reputation in our college for being the best INSET to
attend, Gareth Herring - Penrice College
The 2005 training event ran throughout the autumn term in a range
of venues across the country. As usual it focused on innovative
ways of approaching English teaching and provided a variety of
classroom resources to support teachers in their work.

passion, professionalism and a healthy dose of humour! Made me
remember why I like teaching English . Exmouth Teacher

SEN students who I teach. Cutting edge - just what I need at
school - brilliant ideas. London teacher
- Fantastic - delivered with wit and enthusiasm. Inspiring and
of practical value. I'm sure I'll steal all of these ideas rather
than doing the usual post-course panning for gold Leeds teacher
