digital Media Education Centre

A key objective of the dMEC is to encourage teachers and pupils to use digital technology creatively.

We produce an extensive range of resource materials to support the teaching of GCSE English, English Literature and Media Studies.

The dMEC specialises in the use of videoconferencing to support teaching and learning in schools throughout the UK.

The Digital Media Education Centre has moved from Bartholomew Street West to new premises in the outskirts of Exeter.

There will be some disruption to services while this move is taking place, but we hope that this will only be for a short period. The centre's videoconferencing test service is currently out of action, so please contact Karen Larkin on 01392 364171 or karen.larkin@devon.gov.uk for the time being.

We are making every effort to resume normal services as soon as possible.
